The Oyster Tempo is produced at our factory in Raufoss, Norway. The assembly is a delicate, advanced process which relies on precision robotics – a simple task for a robot one might think, but as it turns out, nobody’s perfect.
Occasionally, bumps, scratches and glue marks may occur during production – cosmetic imperfections with zero impact on the performance of the cooler. Nonetheless, these Tempos cannot be sold at full price, and discarding them would be wasteful.

The Oops Edition is a selection of certified Tempo coolers with minor superficial flaws that were detected during final inspection. They are available at a price cut and this offer will run while supplies last.
Please note that flaws will vary, and we cannot specify the exact type of blemish each cooler will have.

"I've owned my cooler 3 years. Cooler itself is incredible. I absolutely love it. The keys to attach the handle wear quickly then rotate to the unlock position when I stand the handle up. Bought new keys. Did not resolve the problem. A $600 cooler should not have parts that wear out. Nor should they cost $80 to replace."

"This cooler is amazing. Like many parents I'm bouncing around with kids sports, dragging younger ones around, etc. and this cooler is so perfect for that. It's perfect for road trips, to be able to pack food and everything where it wont get soggy in melted ice, stay colder, and longer is amazing. "Haven’t tried it with Cryo blocks yet, but so far this cooler lives up to its reputation. It’s the only cooler I’ve seen that I’d call “beautiful,” and it does keep stuff cold, with no added ice. However…it is unwieldy. Both the strap and bar handle look great, and the strap is the clear winner for any kind of long walk with the cooler. That said, most of the time the cooler is moving from house to tailgate to picnic table to hotel room, etc. I feel like I bought this cooler a generation too early because the need for handles seems to me so obvious that I feel they’re bound to be a part of it soon. Still, bravo, Oyster."
"I live a very frugal lifestyle, so I didn’t want to splash money on a cooler when it wasn’t going to meet my needs. As you can tell, I press the button on this and I am not disappointed. I’ve combined it with some freezer packs that freeze -15, this allows me to have part of the compartment frozen and others as chilled. This is similar to the cryo blocks, but they only seem to be available in the USA. I found that this will keep food frozen for at least three days and chilled for at least six days, this might actually be longer. I just haven’t tested it for a week yet. My only annoyance was that not long after purchasing this they sent me an offer, which would’ve saved me some money. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was a big purchase and I feel it was a right choice. I haven’t tested the strap or the bag, but these both seem of good quality. If you have the money to spend, then I would say this is a no brainer go for it you won’t be disappointed. H"

"I bought the Oyster cooler specifically for the frunk of my 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, and I’ll admit—I was nervous it wouldn’t fit. It fits perfectly. It’s an incredibly smart way to use what would otherwise be wasted space. I put the Cryo packs in a 0°F freezer for several days, until they were completely frozen solid and white. When I loaded them into the cooler, my thermometer read 1°F. After six hours, the cooler was still holding steady at 12°F. That’s impressive performance, especially considering the Mach-E’s frunk is surrounded by components that generate heat. Despite being in an area of the car affected by the battery’s heat, the Oyster kept my frozen items frozen solid for the entire trip. For EV road trips, this is a fantastic solution. It makes use of otherwise unused space, fits the Mach-E frunk beautifully, and—most importantly—it actually keeps things cold. Five stars from me. If you have a Mach-E, don’t be nervous about the fit like I was. It fits perfectly and makes the frunk considerably more useful!"

"Nice cooler. My wife thinks I overpaid but I think it was worth it. I know what I paid goes to well paid employees and they’ll keep making a great product. I got the handle for 45 more but I prefer the strap. The handle seemed like it could break easily. So I recommend getting the ice packs instead. Also my cooler came without any faults or scratches so I got a good deal there. I wish glue was used on the foam seal but it’s probably for a reason. It’s the perfect size for a family road trip. If the price is too steep look for the imperfect ones if they’re available."
