The Oyster Tempo is produced at our factory in Raufoss, Norway. The assembly is a delicate, advanced process which relies on precision robotics – a simple task for a robot one might think, but as it turns out, nobody’s perfect.

Occasionally, bumps, scratches and glue marks may occur during production – cosmetic imperfections with zero impact on the performance of the cooler. Nonetheless, these Tempos cannot be sold at full price, and discarding them would be wasteful. 

The Oops Edition is a selection of certified Tempo coolers with minor superficial flaws that were detected during final inspection. They are available at a price cut and this offer will run while supplies last.

Please note that flaws will vary, and we cannot specify the exact type of blemish each cooler will have.

"I bought an Oyster cooler set, but the product was delivered because the ice pack was missing, and I was so angry that I contacted Oyster in every way I could, but only the aiChatbot answered. I had no choice but to buy an additional ice pack, but I still don't know when or how it happened I lost a lot of money and I'll never be distant from you again You're the worst company thieves of my life"

Chic & Amazing

"From a design perspective, I was sold immediately — no question. But when it came to the price and all the marketing promises, I honestly had my doubts. So I kept putting off the purchase for months. And yet, I found myself going back to the website again and again. About four weeks ago, I finally ordered it. Fast and smooth delivery. Since then, it has been in almost nonstop use — professionally and privately. Transporting what is probably the purest salmon in Europe from Swiss Lachs, raised in the Swiss Alps, all the way to Monte Carlo, Nice and Saint-Tropez … and returning with some of the finest delicacies. Even with very high temperatures inside the car, the box performs incredibly well — in my case for up to two days using four Oyster ice packs. Of course, when fully loaded it’s not lightweight, but thanks to the shoulder strap it’s still very manageable. And honestly: I think I now own the chicest cooler box in the world — both for clients and private use. An eycatcher everywhere I go.   Top product."

Possible Initial Defect?

"I purchased this from the first production lot because I really liked the design and functionality. I understand that shipping delays can happen, but I was first told it would ship two weeks ago, and it actually shipped one week ago. The product arrived on May 3, but the thermometer does not respond at all. I contacted customer service, but I have only received bot responses so far, and I still have not heard from an actual staff member after two days. I am worried that I may have no choice but to keep using a defective product…"

Defective Thermostat.

"“Hiro” and I have both experienced the same defect with the thermostat not cooperating or functioning at all. There is no build worries as it is truly built exceptionally well and came as expected in a very timely manner. Aside from the thermostat quirk and lack of operational integrity the product overall is terrific, thank you."

"I did not think it mattered having the cooler filled in order to keep temps down but that is a huge factor in keeping it cool several days. Aside from that, it is lightweight and very portable in comparison to competitors ultra clunky coolers for the same size"

Great product. Really bad support.

"Im massively impressed by the Oyster cooler. I bought because of the awesome design and because I wanted to find a cooler that really kept cool for a long time. I’ve had it for 1&1/2 years. It has been amazing. And it was extra AWSOME this weekend. We brought it to our summerhouse to keep some food and meat cold during the 3 hour car trip. When we arrived we found out our refrigerator was broken. Stressful. But we decided to put our hope into the oyster cooler. We took two frozen milk containers from the freezer that still worked and threw it in to the oyster and hoped for the best. When we checked in the morning- the milk was still frozen and all food was perfectly cold. We have continuing to use the cooler as a fridge over the weekend. And the food is still cold. A life or at least food saver. Very Very impressive. The support when we bought the oyster was very bad though. Very mad at replying to emails. Thought it was a scam for a while. But when the product finally came - it was superior. Oyster need to step up the support to the same premium level. Oskar B"
