Charge by leaving in freezer until frozen. Once frozen place both ice packs in the bottom of the cooler, close the lid and and you have a fridge tempered cooler in no time (+4°C / 39°F).

"Very happy with my new cooler! It takes up minimal space and the weight is much more manageable than my Igloo. As many have mentioned before, this is not a cooler you throw in the back of your pickup truck! She’s much too pretty for that. Get the ice packs. Regular ice takes up way too much room. Worth the expense and keeps items dry. Still have not figured out why it’s an “oops” edition. Looks and works perfectly fine!"
"Having a handle option is great when taking the cooler on short distances. The strap is superior for longer carrying needs. That said the handle, while quick and easy to install/use, is made from very thin aluminum which can bend and easily deform when not on the cooler. Being thin and lightweight has both advantages and disadvantages. While my handle bent/deformed on first use, Oyster customer service was excellent in quickly resolving the issue. Now I know how delicate the handle is and I manage accordingly."
"I’m generally very happy with the cooler. It looks great, performs well, and has attracted a good amount of attention whenever I use it. My only issue is that the lid keeps popping off the hinge during normal use. Is there a known fix or adjustment for this? I’d love to get that resolved, as otherwise I’ve been very pleased with the cooler."
"Remember when stainless insulation cups first came out? Your drink just stayed cold. Little to no condensation. This is the cooler version of that. Thin insulated side walls that just work. The added cooler blocks perfectly fit. The adjustable shoulder strap attaches/unattached so simply. It’s also very comfortable to carry. No notes."

"Customer service has been great. My cooler was damaged during shipping and they sent a replacement right away. The cooler works great - with just the ice packs it us still very cold after 2 days in my hot car. But the unit is heavy fir its size. Glad I got the solid handle for carrying."

"The Oyster successfully kept all my precooked meals and a quart carton of heavy cream hard frozen for 3 days on the 1000 mile drive from So Cal to Montana in the August heat. Superior cold maintained as compared to dry ice in a “3 day cooler”. The smaller footprint allowed for extra room in my SUV which was my 2nd reason for choosing Oyster. Super satisfied!!!"
"I got my cooler from the dings and dents Oyster site. When my cooler arrived it looked like new, no dings or dents. I still cant find any imperfections. I also bought 2 of the Cryo blocks. They work great! I put bottled water in the cooler with them and they partially froze. I love it. One of the best purchases I have made and I would recommend this cooler to everyone. I saw this cooler initially on a cooler challenge Outdoor Empire did on YouTube. This little cooler held a bag of ice for 6 days and rated top cooler for small coolers. It lasted right up there with the overall winners. Shoutout to Chase at Outdoor Empire for putting out a great video!"
