When we started exploring the world of coolers, we were surprised by how little progress and innovation had been made. That is why the Oyster is nothing like an ordinary cooler.
Its aluminium shell combined with our patented DLTA technology allows cold temperatures to spread evenly throughout the entire cooler using only blocks, never cubes. This is a major difference compared to traditional coolers. While they can also use ice blocks (packs), the contents need to be in direct contact with the block for it to have any real effect.
Ice blocks in the Oyster cool efficiently without soaking everything inside, creating a practically dry cooling environment. Ice cubes, on the other hand, quickly melt and turn a conventional cooler into more of a tub.
